The big name that is going to perform in this year’s Dimensions Playground is Gorillaz Sound System which will perform in two big cities Jakarta May 5th and Bali May 9th 2012.
Here is something about Gorillaz Sound System :
Gorillaz Sound System is a state-of-the-art audio-visual 4-man outfit incorporating all the hugely successful Gorillaz hits coupled with outsized projections of their award winning animation. GSS consists of a DJ, a Percussionist, a Drummer and a Visual Director – with live mixing, remixing and percussion.
Though NB the original logo has still been used in the second and third eras of GSS as well, particularly in onstage projections.

Official biography
“”Once upon a time, the Earth was ruled by manufactured pop and chaos reigned. From the chaos came Gorillaz: four intrepid heroes united as one, come to save us all… And following along behind, carrying the record box and wearing the headphones, came Gorillaz Sound System, the world’s premier audio-visual party experience! Providing toe-tapping tunes and eye-popping Gorillaz visuals, G.S.S. is guaranteed to make any party go with a swing. Previous engagements for this funn -fuelled collective include spots at the launch of Dom Pérignon Oenothèque at the Langham Hotel, Berlin Fashion week party and the official Road to the MTV Awards at London’s Bloomsbury Ballrooms. The hard-dancing partygoers at a G.S.S. bash are the only recommendation they need, but this lot also come with bona fide celebrity endorsement: “G.S.S. are the only people I’d trust to entertain my amigos apart from myself. The way I look at it, this is kinda like the Pope giving his blessing to another parish. And anyway I can’t get the records out of those little paper cases, my nails are too long.” Murdoc Niccals, Satanist Svengali and bass slayer of Gorillaz. If you have a party problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them; maybe you can hire… The G-Team.”
Addition to the biography for the third phase of GSS: “Gorillaz Sound System consists of a DJ, a Percussionist, a Drummer and a Visual Director who – with live mixing, remixing and percussion – can transform any space to create a gre@t, dynamic and vibrant event.”
Official press release for Creamfields described the act thus: “20 old school projectors projecting 360-degree Gorillaz visuals, and 4 DJs will DJ on the night “in Gorillaz Sound System gear”.
